The Continuing Legal Education program at The University of Texas School of Law (UTCLE) is one of the oldest and most distinguished providers of professional education in the country, offering over 50 major programs per year. Some of the School's signature programs, such as Immigration, Bankruptcy, Mortgage Lending, and Civil Litigation, have been offered continuously for more than 25 years. UTCLE programs span a wide range of topics, including complex transactional practice, regulatory and technology issues, and advocacy and practice skills. View the Practice Area menu on our home page for a complete listing. Those interested in receiving advance notice of offerings in a particular subject area can select from a list of practice area interests in your Member Account. UTCLE offers special programs for young lawyers and others new to a practice area, through its Primer Series which provide overviews for particular areas of law, skill sets, or transactional documents. UTCLE strives to deliver the highest quality educational content in a variety of formats. We offer live conferences, video replays, online courses, "in-house" training with audio and video, as well as reference and research tools, such as eBinders and eLibrary access. Your firm or organization can bring most UTCLE programs in-house for full participatory CLE credit. Your purchase includes complete course materials. An in-house CLE can save substantial time and money, and provide a foundation of resources that can be supplemented for specific training purposes. Our popular online courses offer sessions from most UTCLE programs for full participatory CLE credit. If you can't make it to a conference you can still get the best of it online within weeks of the live event. Key resource materials from each program are available as a printed course binder, or an eBinder, a searchable PDF version of the course binder delivered in CD format. Additionally, a fully-searchable library of all UTCLE resources, including conference papers, PowerPoint slides, and Audio-to-Go MP3 downloads are available via the UTCLE eLibrary; putting timely resources from leading practitioners at your fingertips. UTCLE co-sponsors and manages events with several bar sections, associations, and other universities, including Stanford and Berkeley. We are very receptive to managing and producing programs in cooperation with other organizations, in situations where our experience and expertise can add value. Should your organization be interested in having UTCLE assist in designing, marketing, or producing an event, please contact Michael Esposito at 512 232-1174, or at mesposito@law.utexas.edu. |
