Tracing the history of the repurchase loan agreement, including the additional protections that were provided to such agreements by the most recent amendments to the Bankruptcy Code, the panel will explain why subprime lending company bankruptcies are somewhat unique and examine whether the issues that arise in the cases are likely to be seen in the future, both in and out of the subprime arena. |
